Lung cancer perfusion chemoembolization was performed under DSA after obtaining the consent of the patients and their families.
The operation was very smooth. It only took 30 minutes. The patient had no discomfort during the operation. After the operation, the patient ate lunch smoothly and got out of bed 24 hours later. The family is very satisfied and is recovering well and discharged from the hospital as scheduled.
Transcatheter bronchial arterial chemoembolization for the treatment of lung cancer is not like the traditional surgery “opening the stomach”. It is only necessary to make a tiny channel with a diameter of about 2 mm at the patient’s femoral artery, and under the guidance of an angiography X-ray machine, find the blood vessels supplying the tumor, and then infuse chemotherapy drugs through the catheter. Then embolization of tumor blood vessels is performed with an embolic agent to block the blood supply to the tumor.
This dual treatment method of killing (high concentration of antibiotics) + starvation (blocking tumor blood vessels) has minimal local trauma to the lesion.
