Privacy Notice for the Huan Instrument Pinterest Integration

Huan Instrument (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. operates an internal, self-hosted Postiz instance to manage content for its Pinterest Business account. This notice describes how the Pinterest integration handles information. It does not cover other services on this website.

Information we use

An authorized operator connects the business account through Pinterest OAuth. Pinterest issues access and refresh tokens, which Postiz uses to maintain the connection and make authorized API requests. The integration does not ask for or collect a Pinterest password.

The integration can read connected account profile information and board information to identify the account and let an operator select a board. It can send the selected board, Pin title and description, destination link, and image or video to Pinterest when an operator schedules or publishes a Pin. It can also read publication results and account or Pin performance metrics where available. Postiz requests read and write permissions for boards and Pins, and read permission for account information.

How we use and share information

We use this information to operate and maintain the connection, prepare and publish business content, check the outcome of publication, and review performance. We send selected content and authorized requests to Pinterest to provide these functions. Pinterest’s handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy. We do not sell Pinterest account information or use it to target advertising.

Retention and your choices

Postiz retains connection credentials and operational records needed to support the connection and publishing workflow. You can revoke access in Pinterest’s connected app settings. Revoking access does not itself remove Pins already published on Pinterest or records already held in Postiz. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information held by us for this integration, email info@huan-inst.com. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
